Open Question: SEO Changes in Joomla 1.6

Joomla recently announced that they're looking for white papers, proposing ways to make the next version even better than 1.5.

So, together with some of Joomla's brightest SEO minds, we've taken up the challenge and are writing a paper with our suggestions for improving SEO in 1.6.

We'd love to hear ideas from the community to include in the proposal:

What SEO improvements would you like to see in Joomla 1.6?

Already on the list are ideas such as improving control over metadata. What else should we do to make Joomla the most search-engine friendly CMS available?

First I want to say that J1.5 is much better than J1.0.X but there aren`t extensions for it, that worked on J1.0.X.
A feature for J1.6 should be a better support for J1.5 & J1.0.X extensions (a better legacy mode or something like it).
About SEO I think that a faster metatadata adding and editing option would be welcome.
Thats all, for now.

"faster metatadata adding" is already available as an admin-extension to both J1.0.x and J1.x.

with faster meta add i wanted 2 say: adding meta 2 multiple content in same time, or automatic meta add, or something like it...

Yeah like a way you edit all the pictures at once .
All the webpages at once and see what needs to be changed .
Also what would be nice is a feature that would look for unintentional spamming on the site not to tick off the spiders.

Maybe a compare site feature .
So u can compare one site against yours in SEO.
