Toronto, ON – April 21 – Joomla! User Group Toronto, Toronto’s premier forum for Joomla! users and developers, announced today that it will be participating at the Massive Technology Show, Canada's largest technology tradeshow and conference for business
The objective of Joomla! User Group Toronto, or JUG-T as they are often referred to, is helping web developers and webmasters to better leverage the Joomla! CMS platform. They will be on hand to demonstrate the software and take questions at Booth 816 of the upcoming conference, to be held April 30, 2008, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North Building. “This is a great opportunity for the team,” said Michelle Bisson, Joomla! Core Team member and a member of the JUG-T core team. “JUG-T is pleased to be participating in an event like this as it is a great opportunity for attendees to see a full demonstration of websites using Joomla!, and really understand the power of this open source platform. Plus we are able to let regular users know that we are here for them”
Ian MacLennan, Joomla! Developer Documentation Team Leader and co-chair of the group, added, “The group is open to anyone who uses or develops applications for Joomla!. We currently have a Facebook Group and a Google Group, and we are looking at other ways of expanding the community.”
