Description: The Chemin Neuf Community (the name means "New Way") is a Roman Catholic community with an ecumenical vocation. It came into being in 1973 in Lyon, France, growing out of a charismatic prayer group. Members include married couples, singles and consecrated celibates. The Community now has more than 1000 members from many countries, representing a dozen different Christian denominations. It runs missions in more than fifty countries, and has a permanent presence in twenty or more.
