Reviews (16)I went ahead and paid the $500 membership fee but I wouldn\'t do it again. I have already invested too much time trying to get one of their latest templates to work to ask for a refund. I am on week 2 and still frustrated trying to get my site working. There is no documentation except bits and pieces of information scattered across their forum. The core developers are in China and India so the English documentation and template text is broken English. The weather calendar has read Satuday now for some time and the temperature well over 100 for any city. There are some great features if you can figure out how to get them to work but you are pretty much on your own. After a new release, the developers will help for awhile and then leave you hanging as they work on the next template. I will not be renewing my membership next year. Joomlart templates looks great - far better than other providers - but I have been greatly frustrated by Joomlart\'s poor support. They churn templates out, but in general they often have lots of bugs that one only discovers once you really get into creating your system. Then you discover that their support is half hearted. For example, they released a template specifically for Community Builder, but then we discover that they had not even tested it with community builder (they did not know community builder has its own logon module.) When asked to update the template so it really works, the just ignored many customers repeated requests. My experience is that if you only use Joomla superficially then the Joomlart template are fine, but if you really use lots of extensions, then the Joomlart templates require lots of fixing. They have good templates, but they are a bit expensive compared to other template companies and you only get 3 domain licenses. Plus you have to pay extra money to remove their copyright notice. Great templates, strange support, (forum support by members not included in my vote) with lot of errors on the homepage, but overall would I still recommend this club, as what you really want is the material, and that is good, clean CSS files, well sorted packages. Enjoy! (All what really should be changed is the copyrights issue, I had to pay to remove that where in most clubs it is included in the basic memberships.) Joomlart has a lot of challenges in communicating to others, especially their club members! I\'ve been with them for 2 years. At first, with no challenging web sites to do, their templates were fine. Once I started needing support, they don\'t answer a question for quite some time and when they do, it\'s not correct - they do not take the time to understand what their members are asking. Many questions go unanswered. Lately, the issues are: now that they have converted their templates to 1.5, and with every new template since they started this, they no longer give a tutorial or instructions on how to use the new templates in 1.0.X. Not cool for many of our clients who cant just make a move to upgrade to J1.5 right away. Stay away from these guys! I will probably not renew with them although I may have to to get access to what little support I need until I can convert my client\'s web site to another template!!! I recommend Rocket Theme instead! They have great tutorial, instructions and support. BW This is one of JoomlART\'s best templates yet - versitile for a wide variety of site purposes, from a news portal to an online magazine to a political portal, etc. People who have been complaining above will likely complain about anything/everything ... the support on the JoomlART Forums is good. People try to help as best they can in as timely a manner as they can. (Some people simply have no patience). Furthermore, it\'s clearly stated that the first week or so of a template\'s release is the \"beta\" period - meant for members to test and report any/all bugs. Their designs looked good so I paid the money and joined the club. But right from the start there were problems. I wish I\'d heeded the alarm bells and cut my losses when I ran into a brick wall with installation, which I\'d never had a problem with when using a multitude of free templates. I\'ve also experienced difficulties to do with useless support, modules not working, a lack of cross-browser performance and awkward css. For the sake of your health I\'d advise steering clear of joomlart.
