Features: Professional Looking/Functioning, Easy to manage CSS, Great Backend Template Options. SUPPORT: Zero Complaints - I have the best plan, and with it I\'ve received top notch, nearly instant service. PRICE: Great, BUT, don\'t buy because of the full catalog - you will be disappointed as most of 2008 and all of 2007 need serious updating (2009 - Current are incredible and do a lot to make up for it). ACTIVITY: Forum gets attention from almost all the developers, my issues always seem to be addressed, but a few staff members\' responses fail to deal with the questions, and you find yourself latching on to the ones that can fix your problems - doesn\'t seem fair to them. DRAWBACKS: 1) Staff Size... Major issue that needs to be addressed. You get the sense that Gavick is alone in the template building, too many developers are getting sucked into the forum to fully concentrate on the extensions, and there is much work to be done - ie. reconfiguring the old templates in their catalog for J! 1.5 and to update them to the latest GK Pro extensions. 2) Learning curves is WAY to STEEP! They need to make future extensions more user friendly and idiot proof. I\'ve spent a lot of time on these and, while very confident in my ability to customize, I still make occasional mistakes. But these need to be for the people of Joomla! The whole Backend OS of J! is designed so any idiot can use it. I direct average people with \'limited to no\' web-design experience to Joomla so they can be free to master their own website. This isn\'t the case with Gavick... they will need someone who knows what they are doing. Having said that, I can accept that these templates are very highend. So much so that I expect most people who end up with one will have paid site-management through their developer. You notice the \"1\" for support. If you had a \"0\" for this, I would have chosen it. GavickPro makes excellent templates and free modules that make them one of the tope designers. But don\'t expect much in the way of support. The forums are full of people asking multiple times for help, begging for help, indignantly asking for support for the Nth time. I myself subscribed and never asked for support for months. But when I ran into a problem, I politely asked and asked, on the forum and from customer support. Like so many others, zilch. Support comes from folks around the world, which is fine, when support is provided, which is really scattershot on the forum, and I can only relate my own experience with regard to support from customer support, which never came. If you think you may need support on any of the many issues that may arise with \"power\" templates and modules, think very, very carefully before subscribing to this company.
