well i would like to help Fireboard to grow & be near perfect with sharing ideas & thoughts about the forum & also with beta testing i enjoy testing stuff & bugs reporting

All I can say is fireboard is the best board Ive ever used. Why? Its already integrated on joomla! With proper components, modules and handling, this can be more powerful than any board on the planet. Check out my website and see what I mean. ^_^

Hi, I am willing to help out where I can, I am no programmer but I guess I have a fair bit of experience now with writing tutorials/FAQ's about bugfixing and also finding the bugs and either fixing them or locating the error.

If you want me to join in as part of the doc's team I am happy to help where I can.

should we start a wiki for that? suggestions?

Not a bad idea. Should help going forward but as you know many don't like to read as demonstrated by the preventable problems arising from failing to RTFM during upgrading.

Hello there, I am somewhat new to the entire Joomla community (started in June of this past year), but I believe that I have a lot to offer to the Fireboard community. I am a sophomore Computer Science student at UT-Austin, and I suppose my proficiency would be programming. While I was waiting on the release of the stable, I released a fix to the problem of the old version not counting up the number of child board posts, and everything to do with all that.

Since I released that fix, I have really been anxious to do integral work on a Joomla component, and I think Fireboard is an awesome one to start with. As far as time goes, I could probably donate 5-6 hours a week, give or take (I am a college student with tests on certain weeks).

Yeah a wiki would probably be a great idea as long as it was a little more comprehensive than (say) the one on virtuemart which really tends to have little in the way of useable info for novice users which lets be fair are going to be the more likely people to need to use the wiki in the first place.

I could also type together a few actual tutorials with screenshots if you like for other area's of FB that would need more explaining.
