Hey igd/dan & danialt,

You may or may not know I'm developing a new forum for joomla 1.5 as a google soc project with the support of joomla. The basic foundation for this forum would (hopefully) be finished somewhere end july/start of august. If you are intrested in joining me in the development of this, please join the contrib mailing-list at joomlacode.org/gf/project/jforum/mailman/ (it should be available soon) or contact me directly on progster at gmail dot com

I dont know if there is already an spanish translator or moderator assigned to the the spanish language and forum, i offer my time to take any of this roles to help users, i worked before as a translator in joomlaspanish.org.

I dont want to troll around but do you think it is good to give users certain titles before theyve shown any work/effort?

Hey there,

You are right. But keep in mind that we constantly monitor the forums and other activities and we don't hesitate to "remove" the title from the people who are not giving any/small effort. As our forum is beta, our group is in beta too Giving title encourages people, including me, and make them feel involved. So we do our best to keep people motivated while pinching the not working ones

so i am Experienced Joomla user,Web designer (Professional fireworks,photoshop and dreamweaver user)and i will help about translating turkish language files.I translated some linux programs to turkish.(For Pardus )
P.S.: And i disapparoved of turkish translation.
