I am trying to understand how to use this. When I paste {mos_fb_discuss:29} in my template, the output displays {mos_fb_discuss:29}.

Is there some special coding I need to wrap around the bot tag to get it to work?

Make sure that FB config has the bot enabled or nothing happens. Also make sure that if you've added the tag to the intro, you allow the bot on the front page.

Turn on the debug info to see what it doing - there will be lots of stuff dumped to the article pages with debug info turned on.

today it worked and did not change anything? anyway it showing the tag,

the catergory I want it to go is 14 , the actually link in the forum looks like 114 and the link in the article looks like it is 102 ? Not sure what to use.? But it is showing th tag and the link now ?? is the at because debug is on,? And it did create the aricle nam e in the forum as I thought it might..

solved this - the auto discuss was on -and quick post, confused it as i do,

i have to turn off the cache setting, in order to use this bot. It's a limitaion ?

Hopefully someday I will understand the Joomla caching options well enough to allow them together.

I'm having the same issue {mos_fb_discuss:2} but nothing showing up in FB and the macro is showing up in the post.

caching is off, Discuss bot is enabled and published.

I saw something about allowing it on the frontpage? How do I allow it on the front page?

Okay, it must be the front page problem. I clicked on the article off the frontpage and it works.

I have another problem. I can't see the reference sheet/ cheat sheet. When I click on the button I get an internal error and a 404. I tried with both FF and IE.

If someone could post that here it would be helpful.

going to go look at the mambot to see if there is a way to allow it on the front page there.
