Hello to all,

after reading some posts here I modified the standard Discussbot.

FB DiscussBot XTD version

- add Auto Mode on/off - Off mode work like standard bot, On mode auto add link to discuss WITHOUT need to manualy add tag to every content
- you can include more Categories, and/or can exclude some...
- you can add extra BR between text and link

Limitation : in Auto mode you can discuss only in one predefined Category from Fireboard!!!

Note : Please, uninstall the standard bot before use XTD version!

There's one small problem that I encountered. When news is posted to the frontpage, the discuss link is not shown on the article text on the frontpage, but only on the page where the article is shown in full length. This occurs even when the article is shown in full length on the frontpage as well.

thanks for hint.
I know this feature, I "hardcoded" it to php code ( for my use only).
May be good idea to use parameter in config : "View only in full view: on/off "

Hello to all,

here is the updated version of FB DiscussBot XTD !

Changes:
+ add param to config "View only in Full View Mode"
+ add new separator P


Note : To upgrade only owerwrite old files, other way install normaly.

I'm afraid I can't get it to work right!

When I initially installed it the discussbot text/link appeared on all my content items--but then also appeared under many of my modules as well!

So then I put the word "news" in the "only" field and some of the modules were right, some still had the discussbot text. (Later I learned that any text in this field causes the same effect)

Next, I went to one of modules where the disussbot text was showing and turned off mambots. That was a mistake--all of the discussbot text/links went away on the whole page--turning the mambots back on did not bring the links back.

Uninstall and installed again. I'm back to where i started--some modules hve the text/link.

Any ideas? I'm new at this and would love to have the discus link automated!
