FireBoard SearchBot 1.2.1 Released 9 Months, 4 Weeks ago
Well, I had to release yet another version of the ever popular SearchBot. This is getting habit forming.
The previous version used a sub-query to determine the user's access privileges but sub-queries were not supported until MySQL 4.1. The new version only has the changes needed to make the SearchBot compatible with older version of MySQL. I honestly don't understand why Hosting services are so slow to upgrade to PHP 5 and MySQL 5. I understand that cPanel cost money to upgrade but MySQL4.0 is about 4 years old now! MySQL 5 is 2 years old and they are working on MySQL 6.

If your server is using these old verions, you really need to pressure your hosting service to upgrade soon.

The SearchBot can be found in the download area of this website.

Enjoy,

Getting the following error message

Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in joomlaboard.searchbot.php on line 456

It's joomla 1.0.12 with Fireboard 1.0.3 stable. Any ideas?

peetree,
This would be a FireBoard core search bug. There should be a forum around here for those types of errors. This forum is for FireBoard Extensions and in this case while it seems to be related, the code you are referring to isn't part of the SearchBot discussed here.

snicers,
Uninstall the JoomlaBoard SearchBot and install the FireBoard SearchBot.

That will fix your error.
