how can i write arabic in the subject??? 10 Months ago  
guys please i need to know how to write arabic in the topic subjects?

Actually you can, but thats if you're using Arabic as your default language on your joomla website, then all you have to do is installing the Arabic for your FireBoard forum which I'm currently working on.

Note: You can download my Arabic FireBoard Alpha Version its suitable for Fireboard 1.0.3 Stable


Installation

  • 01. Download the the zipped Arabic file below
    File Attachment:
    File Name: FireBoard
    File Size:

    02. Extract it and upload the arabic.php file to your FireBoard language directory,
    For Example;

    03. The Arabic language file is going to be automatically selected if Arabic is your Joomlas default language


    • Then its done, Tell me what you think

    well 1st the link isn't working :/
    2nd i am using English as my default language
    & i just want to be able to write arabic in subjects & msgs
    dont want to translate my fireboard into arabic

    well, in that case you can try downloading both Joomla English language file language/english.php and FirBoard English language file administrator/components/com_fireboard/language/english.php. Using NotePad change the file encoding into UTF-8 and save it.

    hi .. i need the same thing so my question is how can i change the encoding into UTF-8 ?
    n after doing that .. would my user have the option to right in english and arabic

    wouldnt that change cause me a problem
