Fireboard Vs phpbb 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago

Even though I don't speak spanish. I will reply anyway. If this is illegal, please ignore this post.

FireBoard vs. phpBB is after my knowledge to judge, quite easy. It all depends on what you expect from your forum.

If you plan on have a large forum with extensible features, phpBB is be fare a better alternative then FireBoard. I would also recommend take a look at RokBridge from the team behind the incredible RocketTheme.

Are you not up to make alot of edits, and customization to make phpBB fit your Joomla! site. And want a clean and easy component to administrate, FireBoard is the definitively the best choise for you.

FireBoard -> easy to administrate and Joomla! native (1.5 legacy )
phpBB -> expandable and standalone

Good luck with your choice!
