Suggestions to transfer a very huge IPB forum 10 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Hello all

we're going to revamp our website into a "social network" website (users' blogs, galleries...). Our old website was made with Joomla, so we'll continue to use Joomla. We'll only add the Community Builder plugin.

But we like to avoid double-registrations for users so we found out bridges between Joomla and forums (note that our previous website wasn't accessible to users, only the forum was).

Unfortunately current "Ip.Board-Joomla" bridges don't work if CB is installed (except for Amember, which still has some bugs for CB )

So I'm wondering if you suggest to convert our IPB's database to Fireboard, or it is too risky?

Our numbers: 1,200,000+ posts and 9,000+ members

Thanks in advance!

don't run the conversion now.

FB has twice no of BUGs than 'Amember, which still has some bugs for CB'
