I'm looking for help in migrating a PNphpBB2 installation over to FireBoard. The typical things about phpBB2 do not work with the PostNuke version of the board.

To convert phpbb2 to fireboard I used a script of these forums. I modified this script for take it the users of postnuke directly. In my web I didn't have the same users in postnuke and pnphpbb, a few users haven't login in my forums and they weren't in the database of pnphpbb. In my script all the users are created of type "register" and later I add the permissions. I added orders for pass the content of postnuke to joomla too.

Then I'm going to modify my script and put it in a general form. I think it will be made this night or tomorrow. Remember that you must have your forums in phpbb2 for the script works. For this, use the tutorial of the previous post. It's very easy .

This script convert the forum, the users and the content of the table topics.

The joomla, pnphpbb2 and phpbb2 have to be in the same database.

You need have a section with id 1 in your joomla database. It can convert the articles of the table secont if you want, but you need a section with id 2 and a category with id 1 in that section.
