How To Manage Category Images 1 Year, 2 Months ago
I am playing around with an install and noticed that there are a few things done here that I have yet to figure out how to do. One of these operations is Category Images. How do I designate category images for each individual category?

*bump*

I was about to post this question myself.

I can't find any way to set a category image.

Hi FidelGonzales,

Category images folder is "components/com_fireboard/category_images" or you can change on admin.

category images working with category id :

catid_notlogin.gif
catid_on.gif
catid_off.gif
for example :
your category id is "3" create
3_notlogin.gif
3_on.gif
3_off.gif

than upload your images on your category images folder. default config folder is :
"components/com_fireboard/category_images"

Try it.

Excellent. Thanks.

Making these linkable with alt info toward the category and toward an external link as in a category sponsor would be good.

Cool. Thanks. I'm not yet using Fireboard, but, is there any chance of making these linkable so that the image, alt text and logo could be used for advertisers?

Re:How To Manage Category Images 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago
This looks like the answer to my other question. I have tried creating images with the number of the category, no luck. I have even tried renaming the default images to see if something was wrong with my images. Is there a setting to make fireboard use these category images or something I might be missing?
