Re:Joom!Fish files... 1 Year, 8 Months ago
First, Ivo, great work as usual!

Bzzik, I can confirm this on a french/english site.

The category name is translated and shown on the frontend, but not its description.

Also, my tought is that JoomFish! "picks" the description without problem, since we can modify the field's content.

Which means the fireboard.categories.xml file is not to blame. Correct me if I'm wrong?

I had a quick look inside components/com_fireboard/sources/fb_category.class file, but the problem doesnt seem to be lying there. Again, don't take my words as granted.

Hope we can find a solution!

Is it possible to have additional Joomfish files to translate some of the other areas, like title links, empty folder text, etc... of FB such as shown in my screen shot of French translation of the Joomfish files provided.

I apologize! I did not read the language file section correctly. I thought that there was not a language file created for French.

Once again I apologize for the goof!!!

I think you should remove those 2 files, since there is a content element file at: joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomfish/frs/?...p;frs_package_id=395 which seems to be more accurate, just to avoid confusion, nothing more.

(also, these two files here, one of these 'fireboard.zip' contains an error in fireboard.attachments.xml, instead of it says )

greetings,
burek.
