Shouldn't I see a Fireboard button on Joomla Main 1 Year, 7 Months ago
I installed Fireboard and all the admin stuff is there, but how do I start the forum? I think I have a Category and a Forum created. What else do I check?

where would I see clear install? In components I can uninstall, is this what you mean? I can't load sample data, as I have made several attempts at this and I don't know how to either clear the database, or create a new table. I think I have a category and forum created

Looking in Fireboard Administration under the heading Category/Forum I have 2 entries.

Entry one I have named "Global Category". This item has "No Parent" as this is the only option that kinda fits the description given: "Please note: To create a Category, choose 'Top Level Category' as a Parent. A Category serves as a container for Forums.
A Forum can only be created within a Category by selecting a previously created Category as the Parent for the Forum.
Messages can NOT be posted to a Category; only to Forums"
"Top Level Category" is not an option presented to me.

The second item I labeled "Forum 1" It has an indent character showing next to the name, on the left. It has a parent called "Global Category". I could have choosen "Global Category>>Forum 1", but I didn't
