Possible Bug - image, link and word - javascript 1 Year, 3 Months ago
Hey guys

well i have a problem - i have just moved over from SMF to FB as it has been reccommended a few times. and i thought now was the time to take the plunge.

I have a problem though, im trying to post in the forum about a module - and link to both the demo and download links.

the links im trying to use are

[code:1]http://www.raven-webdesign.com/index.php?option=com_docman&task=cat_view&gid=13&Itemid=10
and
http://demo.raven-webdesign.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=2&Itemid=4[/code:1]

and im trying to use them in the
[code:1]linky[/code:1]

but when i try to do this i get the message
Active link containing JavaScript has been removed automatically
i have also tried a couple of other urls that are using mootools- but they display the same error.

thanks in advance

I am not familiar with mootools, but you may want to try here as well:

i think i will post over at mootools

but surely this is an issue with Fireboard, my reasoning for this - is that im not aware of other forum software - that does this?

Sorry it is hard for me to understand what roll mootools plays in this since I don't even know what mootools does.

Are you simply trying to insert a link in a post?

oops

sorry

something wierd is going on...

take a look at this - www.raven-webdesign.com/index.php?option...p;catid=2&id=5#5
and this - www.raven-webdesign.com/index.php?option...p;catid=4&id=7#7

both contain the same download link

but only one of them works?
i apologise for saying it was a problem with fireboard and mootools
this is obviously incorrect

but its a problem never the less

any ideas?

Where are these links originating from? are they links to File Attachments?

heres the exact text from the message edit

[code:1]

Today We Have Released Slidey Vertical Menu

Slidey Vertical Menu is based on Kwick Sliding Menu by templateplazza It uses mootools v1.11

Slidey Vertical Menu Displays a Vertical Javascript Menu that slides when a user hovers over a menu item.

Download

Thanks

Richie M[/code:1]

Now I'm really confused lol. I don't see how a docman link has "com_fireboard" in it.

Hopefully someone else can better help you out.
