Ok I dont know whether anyone will be interested in this but....

Here is a way to intergrate a UDDEIM message notification into the forums header.

First off You will beed to have the latest UDDEIM component installed on your site.

Second you will need to install the module itself which is aatched to this post:




After that goto your admin backend and follow site >> template manager >> module postions once you are there create a new module postion called fb_1 and save.

Then goto site modules select the UDDEIM notification module and do the follow:

Show title = off
Position = fb_1 (The module postition that you should have just created)
Access level = Registered
Published = Yes
Show messages = No

The other options are irrelevent..so hit save.

Now all your registered forum users should be able to see their Pms in the forums header, so job done

Hope this helps ppl, becuase Clexus is an expensive option for a PM system and I wanted ppl with the free versions to have better intergration.

Very nice, thanks. I had the UDDEIM notification module installed already, so I got an error when I first tried to upload it, as I didn't realize this was the same module. I did get it working nicely with your instructions.
