Please NOTE, in this line -
[code:1]
$msg_pms="om_primezilla&page=write&Itemid=29&uname='.$PMSName)
[/code:1]

the value of Itemid could be different from that of mine. Check that out.

Hi iosoft,

Maybe this is the wrong question to pose to you here, but after trying the hack you posted, I can't get the view.php file to upload to the fireboard default template folder. It tells me that my permissions aren't sufficient to overwrite it. I've tried going through my server file manager, through JoomlaXplorer, and through the FTP program to change perms and each time it gives me an error. I've even been careful to log out of the site in case my fireboard was setting any locks that were keeping me from overwriting the file. This is the only component file that it happens to - can upload view.php to anywhere else on the site (including the main com_fireboard folder.)

Do you or anyone else have any ideas what I'm facing here?

By the way, dannykilla, to find the itemid just add primezilla as a menu item on one of your menus. You should see the itemid in the Menu Manager for that menu, between "Access" and "Type".

Check the permission of the DIRECTORY and the Parent DIRECTORY also. Make them all '777' for few second just to upload the file.

BTW, can't you directly edit the file from your CPANEL or similar file-manager of hosting-Control panel ?
This hack is quite easy and safe, so no need to worry if you don't touch other codes.

P.S. thanks for helping dannykilla.

I was going to suggest using cPanel as well. Or, you should also be able to use JoomlaXplorer to edit the file.

Re:Primezilla integration 1 Year, 4 Months ago
Thanks for the quick replies, guys! Actually, I've tried joomplaxplorer and Cpanel and both won't work. In cpanel I get an error :

[a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive]

I'm going to see if my host has any idea why I'm getting that error (it's just the com_fireboard folder where it happens). If all else fails, I suppose I could try reinstalling FB.

Thanks for your help!

Does this this error occur when trying to edit and save the file using cpanel or when trying to upload the new file?

If it is during upload, try JoomlaXplorer or cPanel file manager to browse to and edit the file in question.

Re:Primezilla integration 1 Year, 4 Months ago
It happened when I was trying to change perms, edit, delete etc in cpanel. (This PC has some java issues which prevent JoomlaXplorer from working properly.) I uninstalled FB and reinstalled. Then changed the view.php file and everything is BEAUTIFUL now. I think either my server was messed up or else I probably did something and didn't realize it!

Thank you! (And thanks Iosoft!)
