Wide format question 1 Year, 1 Month ago
Hi, I'm very new to Joomla, and have just installed the beta version of fireboard.

I've noticed a lot of demos etc display the forum at full width. How do I achieve this instead of displaying the forum boards in a small section of the page?

Any help would be appreciated, and please keep it as simple as possible, as I'm not too savy with this stuff.

The person above may have had the same query as I now have...

I have installed Fireboard 1.0.3 Stable with my Joomla 1.0.13 Stable and all seems to work fine. But i would like to know if theres a way a can have the Forum show at full screen width, so still obvioulsy integrated with Joomla, but NOT nested within the Joomla template.

To see how it is now, please go to

www.craftandscrap.net/index.php?option=c...eboard&Itemid=37

Thanks.

Oh and also, Ive just noticed my emoticons arent working in a post...

you have to unpublish modules in the left and right of your forum to show it at full screen width..

if it still doesn't show at full screen then maybe it's your joomla template..

maybe your joomla template doesn't support collapsible modules..

Okay thanks. My template obviously doesnt have collapsible modules then, cause unpublishing modules for my forum page doesnt work.

Okay, so what about the emoticons? What can I check to see why theyre not showing in a post? Just the written form of it shows.
