Hi I edited my smilies they show up on the emoticon thing but they dont do anything boardcode also isnt working and im not exactly sure why things went this way O.o How do i solve this problem??

I could really use some help with this if anyone is out there!! Its a perplexing issue and i cant find any previous threads on how to fix it! Any help would be greatly apprcieated!!

the smiley's work but not when you click them is the thing..... like if i type the code for the smiley it shows up. The boardcode isnt working either.... Are you saying the code needs to be in a specific format for the smileys or? Im unsure what exactly i should be doing here....

Right!

If there any chars such ', ", &gt or &lt will cause the error.

So, 1st - remove all your new smileys, then add & test for each smiley code.

Comes up when doing any of the smileys all the smiles are typed like : smile: (minus a space) and the like but not a thing is there something im doing wrong because this is just getting perplexing =/...

I came across the same problem after adding new smilies to the list of smilies.

- the BB buttons stop working
- the hint box for the bbcode stopped hinting when i mouseover the buttons
- the list of smilies on the left side of the message box became "unclickable".

Remedy:
I removed all the new smilies that i added and everything worked again.

After some troubleshooting, i found out that the code for the new smilies that i added must end with a ":"
e.g :veryangry: , not :veryangry
:confused: and not just :confused

i haw simular poroblem , when i pres anny smilie they dont work, and i can select the text, cod of smiles like in picture i show , but when i pres in the coner of the smilie not on the icon but just a litel bit a side i get normal reaction.
When i go to edit the smilie in fireboard administration , and select a smilie press edit the cod is not writen and smilie dosent show , I diden add a new smiles and dident delete any.
when in new post I pres more smilies they work fine
what can i do?
i just found out dhat in may Joomla administratio pages under fireboard-edit smilies, i can delete them eather.

You keep plastering the boards with this same message. You can only have ONE going at any time. I'll keep deleting the others as you continue to post this.
