OT:

The problem you are facing, is related to Linux/Unix+User permission+Apache-PHP.

Hope you know Linux/Unix's permission system.

When we upload/download files using CPANEL/FTP, the file's owner is you.
But when we use some other PHP based tools like - Joomla Installer (whatever it is -component, module, bots, even pictures via media) the created files owner is not you, its 'apache', yes 'apache' is also a user in the group 'system'.

As the owner is different, you just can't delete other owner's files. Linux/Unix's permission system.


SOLUTION: talk to your web-hoster.

I have the same problem... can someone help me?
I am using a youjoomla template and their support told me that jquery-latest.pack.js is interfering with mootols.

I have a javascript error in my forum as you can see:

Can someone help me please?
