CSS key words error 1 Year ago
Hi guys,

Love Fireboard but have the following bug with the latest version. Couldn't see it reported already so here goes.

Fireboard seems to be converting some words typed into posts into ones with underscores on either side seems to be linked to CSS coding. For example:

Go to www.votesaxon.org.uk/index.php?option=co...limitstart=132#3569. In the second post the word "metal" has been altered by Fireboard to _meta_l

At www.votesaxon.org.uk/index.php?option=co...d=3&id=3581#3581 post 3581 has a list of words where the effect is noticed.

In all cases the normal words are being typed in by the users (e.g. description) but coming out with added underscores (eg de_script_ion). As you can see, the words are all code related.

Any help gratefully received.

It has nothing to do with CSS. It's a security measure built in that's a little too rigorous. It's been reported and a workaround was posted. The problem is that the security measure is pretty much bypassed-leaving you open to attack/exploit. Possibly a fix will come in the next upcoming version.
