SOLVED AT LAST! Hacking attempt adding Announement 10 Months, 1 Week ago  
Running FB 1.0.4 and J1.5.1. When I log in to FB from the front end, click "Announcements" and "Add New", a page comes up with a "Hacking Attempt" message. (Note: am using the Community Builder login / registration module, if that might make a difference.)

Any help appreciated!

this is a compatibility issue with FB and J1.5X

Does that mean that it's impossible to add an FB announcement in J1.5? Or is there a patch / workaround?

Do any coding savvy people know how to fix this for us people who don't know jack all about coding? Help would be greatly appreciated to fix the announcement "Hacking Attempt" prob. Thanks in advance!

I've got a few other fixes I need to deal with for a few other people and I'll get on this one once I'm done.
Heck it seems like I'm the only one trying to fix anything UGH. Wouldn't be great if some of the DEV's got involved with some of these issues

Thanks, Hazzaa -- wish I were a code jockey so I could figure it out myself.

When you get to working on this, run a search on these BBs -- there's a thread from an earlier J1.5 RC where someone posted a fix by adding a line of code to one of the FB files. That no longer works in the stable, but it IS a step in the right direction -- it lets you write an announcement without the "Hacking Attempt" message, but the title / text of the announcement don't display.

Can you find it and post a link for me? If it is mostly written and just a matter of a slight change, It would make things much easier and quicker.
