Hi there - I get the following error mssg when attempting to use the new default_ex template: pat-Error Could not load templates from header.html.

Hi,

this error often occurs if one has copied a Fireboard template to a wrong location and/or with wrong filesystem structure, or some files are missing. Have a look at the folder structure and it's files, to approve that all is correct.

Or, maybe, some files are not transfered correctly by FTP client (try another FTP client in this case).

I'm getting the same error after a clean install with no error messages of 1.0.4 when clicking on the links in the Forum tab of my profile. Direct from the forum menu works fine so far.

You know, I think I resolved this issue for me. Funny thing is, I had checked "default" under components/Fireboard forum/Fireboard configuration/Template and Image Sets...in fact I'm pretty sure I did.

I must not have saved it though, because after I had this error, I went back in to look and these options were now showing "Select Template" instead.

So I re-chose "default" for the Template and Image Sets, saved it, and now it's working fine!

Just in case, go take a look and see if that's what's happened to yours!

Mine were set, but I hadn't enabled discuss bot. It worked this time, so maybe that was it, but I wouldn't think that would affect the template?

Heh - I know it. Weird, huh? Sometimes it's just those little things that will mess up the whole component. Hey - good job on figuring it out! At least we've got our forums working now!

Hey guys i am having the same problem! I have just downloaded and unzipped Numinu dark red template and uploaded via FTP i chose it on the fireboard config and pick that template and image sets after a successful save i am getting the same error message. what have I done wrong guys!

Disable your CB plugins one-by-one. Usually, it's one of them causing this error.

I have just Try'd that and have disabled all of my plugings and i still got no Joy. not sure what to do now lol!

Did you also choose "default under "Select Template", and then select "default" for the Image Sets, and then save it?

And did you "enable discuss bot"?

These both worked for other people after they tried them; see if they'll work for you, if you haven't tried them yet.
