When clicking the pending messages link as a moderator, i get the message:

This error is logged and your IP address has been sent to the SuperAdmin(s) of this site; sorry..


I have double and triple checked that the user is a moderator for every forum, and he is listed as such but still the error ;[

Hi all. Yep, same problem here. As far as I can see, everything is in place, eg the list of moderators for the forum shows the right users etc, but the "You are not a moderator" error appears if any moderator I assign tries to view the pending posts.

This is great and vital functionality, and there must be people using this successfully under Joomla 1.5. Please help!

Does ANYONE have Fireboard running with pending posts in 1.5 w/ legacy? If so tell us about it a bit and maybe we can track this down....

I suppose it is a bug, but I'm unable to fix it. What do the others do?

Hi all. I can see that the fb_categories table has NULL for the moderators field, even though there are moderators assigned to that forum. Could this be the issue?

I have tried entering the user id of a valid moderator for that forum, but the error is still there.

Is there someone out there who has a working moderated forum who can tell us what should appear in that field, if it is not the user id?

I'm not a php coder, so this is the best I can do with limited information and ability. Surely there's someone who can see what is causing this error for all of us. Any help? Please!

I've solved the problem uninstalling the component, which was Fireboard 1.0.5., and istalling the previous stable version 1.0.4. Furthermore all the categories and posts were still there!
Now it's working!

Perfect! At first I was a little confused as the Fireboard Control Panel said 1.0.4, but the listing under the com installer showed that it was actually 1.0.5. That was a quick and easy solution.
