topic lock not working... im using numinu nvac... please help me...

That template is a Joomla Me modified version of BoJs original Numinu template. It is no longer supported by either.

but i think the problem is in view.php

maybe somebody can give what is the code that was changed or replace in view.php when the lock issues is fixed...

I would strongly recommend you to use latest nightly build instead of this. There have been more than 350 bugs fixed since 1.0.4

Thanks for the recommendation, but last night I was told that the SVN version was currently unavailable.

I really want to be able to use private forums on my site for private urbanisations (housing estates), organisations, clubs & associations. But Fireboard currently doesn't support this. I don't really want to use a hack as this causes problems later, especially when trying to tie it all in with Joomla, Community Builder and much more.

But if this sort of functionality has yet to be implemented in Fireboard I have 2 choices.
1 - Change forum software (I don't want to do this as I like Fireboard)
2 - Use the hack

If the SVN is now available and the 1.0.5 is still a long way off I will use it, provided it either will work with the hack or has it built in.

Alternatively if 1.0.5 is coming out shortly I prefer to wait, however once again only if it will work with the hack, or has it built in now.

I would assume not, as Private forum is a hacked 1.0.4 feature.
