Hi,
I just installed FireBoard 1.0.3 on Joomla 1.5. Everything seems to work fine, except that it says _EDIT_TITLE instead of Edit Your Details in the profile. If I click the link, the texts say _YOUR_NAME, _EMAIL, _PASS and _VPASS instead of the normal text. All other texts seems fine. I've done a clean install, same thing.

Any suggestions?

I had this. These entries appear to be missing from the language file. Just go to the file and add some (follow the style of others in the file as an example).

I tried this fix... didn't work for me. There is more than one Language file, which one is it? Still showing the _EDIT_TITLE in the profile... Can anybody help with this?

What did you do that did not work?

Also running this on 1.5 right now is not wise. It does not "behave" the way it should even in legacy mode. That and the support for it right now is very limited.

I tried adding the following code to the .../administrator/components/com_fireboard/language/english.php

DEFINE('_EDIT_DETAILS', 'Edit Your Details';
DEFINE('_YOUR_NAME', 'Your Name';
DEFINE('_EMAIL', 'Email Address';
DEFINE('_PASS', 'Password';
DEFINE('_VPASS', 'Verify Password';

I'm a complete hack who knows very little about what he's doing. Did I do the right thing?

OK, actually this DID work... I just typed the wrong name. I shouldn't have put DEFINE('_EDIT_DETAILS', 'Edit Your Details'; - Instead I should have put DEFINE('_EDIT_TITLE', 'Edit Your Details';

So... this is a good fix after all

hi! i have also a similar problem. but it's the _FB_DT_DATETIME_FMT and _WHO_ONLINE_GUEST instead of the actual date/time and name of user or guest (not logged in) respectively.

any clue?
