I loaded the fireboard component into Joomla and I have complete access to the back end.
However I see no front end. Joomla recorded it as a successful installation.

To the best of my knowledge...little as that is the front end should be at:

urbizzness.com//components/com_fireboard/index.php

The above URL draws an empty page

The page cannot be found
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
That means the address means something, but what?
Either (because I am a newbie to all of this )
I do not know what page the front end shows up at or I missed a step somewhere.

Did you create a menu link to Fireboard?

*Edit. I see that you didn't. You need to do this if you want to see it in the Joomla frontend. It doesn't do it for you.

I am in the Fireboaard back end now, I have done extensive work in Joomla with menus and all but It is not as obvious to me how to do it with Joomla.

Does that mean I go to the Joomla Menu Manager make a Link - URL pointing to

and presto it works?

I don't think you're doing this correctly. I still don't see any menu item up front.

Go to the Joomla control panel menu>mainmenu>new>component

Add it this way.

Also it seems that you're pretty new to Joomla in general. I would suggest making full use of the items at this link http://help.joomla.org/content/section/16/276/.

Do you have Community Builder enabled in the configuration but not actually installed? If yes disable it until you do. If you have ANYTHING enabled that you do not have actually installed disable them.
