I have upgraded my Joomla website to Joomla 1.5.6 doue to the secruity risks and everything works fine except fireboard. Can somebody help me please.

when i link to the forum from within my site it gives me a 500 internet server error. I have tried creating the link again and it gives me the same error

A URL may be helpful, since it could allow people to check and see where the fault may lie... If could be one of a dozen factors that might be messing things up for you but we'd never know what it is without actually *seeing* what's happening. It's almost like trying to do brain surgery over a telephone.

Oh my... that *is* weird.

On this end (I'm using Firefox 3 to do my browsing) it's bringing up a blank page, and not a 500 error, but even that is a problem. LOL And truth be told, I'm stumped.

Best I could suggest is if you have threads already posted in the forum to do a backup of your database (as always...<wink> and try uninstalling/reinstalling Fireboard. That will *probably* solve your issue, especially if it's an older version of FB. And on that topic, if it is an older version that you have, grab the latest stable build from here and install that.

Wish I could be of more help, but with any luck this little suggestion might do the trick for you.

Un installed it and re installed it and now it works fine

Not a problem whatsoever - I enjoy it immensely. I just wish there were more hours in a day and I could spend *more* time helping out.
