Re:how can I integrte googleads insde the frst pos 4 Months ago
I am also having great difficulty with this. It should be very simple but I cannot get it to work.

1. I copied an existing Google module
2. Changed the position to fb_msg_1

Ensured the module is enabled and I thought it should work. However, nothing.

Any advise?

I am using Joomla 1.5

Don't think this works in 1.5.

Do you know if anything does work in 1.5 to display the modules in fireboard?

Nope. The Adsense modules have nothing to do with the way J1.5 interferes with ads in FB.

I am now even more confused. My understanding - on reading this thread is that FB will display the contents of a modules using the positions defined (fb_msg_n)

I also believe this should work for version 1.5 of Joomla - Am I right so far?

The upshot of this being that FB will display whatever is the the Joomla module position.

Obviously that is not correct as no one has stepped up to say that this actually WORKS in 1.5 and if so HOW they got it to work.

This is great.
I've just implemented it in ten minutes without problem. I initially tried to do it using the modphp module but it gave me a 404 error, so I went and got the joomlaspan module and it worked a treat. I did however notice that the alternative ad section will not let you leave it blank.

Can I ask how, I'd like to maybe put adsense on the page that has all forums listed.
Would that be easy to do?

Thanks for a great hack guys.

I take it that this doesn't work with Joomla 1.5, or does it?
