Make Fireboard The Root (MAIN) Page 5 Months, 4 Weeks ago
Is there any way I can make Fireboard forum the default page - as in it appears when I go to my url www.website.com?

Essentially the site will be a forum and trying to use the Joomla framework to achieve this.

Many Thanks!

Ironside/Ben Dover said I was supposed to be an expert!! That\'s funny! I don\'t remember getting certified to be a FireBoard expert.

Hello:

What if I don't want it to be the main page, but when people click the link it is the only thing they see, like Fireboard takes up the whole page. Can you tell me how to do that. Also, how come I can't load Avatars and I see this posted in many places with no straight answer. I running Joomla 1.5 in Legacy with Fireboard and can not load Avatars.

Help

Joomla newby here.

WHAT IS THE FORUM URL?

My problem is even more basic; I have installed Joomlah at our new site batamforum.info, then installed Fireboard.

What is the URL to reach the Fireboard forum?
http://batamforum.info/joomlah/forum does not work, nor any other variation that I can think of.

I have FTP'd around the site and cannot find a file that to start the forum

HELP PLEASE?

Silly people,

You need to go to the admin back-end of Joomla (it's Joomla by the way not Joomlah)

Then at the top where it says Menus go to Main Menu, or whichever menu you want to add the link to.

Then go to New.

You'll see a list of different components and somewhere in that list you will see FireBoard (OMG YAY!)

Click it!

Fill out the title, alias and other fields. Make sure you tick the published button.

Then click save!

Test it out in the front end.
