and you are sure that you have already created a forum? not only categories. You will need to create a forum in the categorie where you can post in.

I am just apparently confused cause i have a parent category and then another sub category but what you speak of is confusing me. I need to find somewhere i can go to get better versed in the whole fireboard creating process.

If you load up the sample data everything looks and works but if you prune the sample post you get all the php mumbo jumbo like you see in my pic so who the hell knows. I just suck and will never get this.

ok i lied the php stuff still shows up before the sample post and after it. If i clean install and load up the sample material it looks and works fine but its if i create my own categorys and if I prune the examples that this happens

I noticed you never say what versions of ANYthing you are installing. You give no information.
I don't think your WAMP is set up properly/ Just my guess since we have nothing else to go on.
