I am using FireBoard 1.0.4 Stable [ Teakwood ] and Joomla! 1.5.1 Production/Stable
Is it possible to do another install on my joomla site of the latest version Fireboard, but retain all posts etc on my current fireboard forum? (currently 11,000+ posts)
However, if i have to lose all the posts, then thats fine as i can and will, copy and paste just the stickied posts anyway.
I dont want to upgrade, but i want a clean install of the latest Fireboard.
Is it also possible to have both running at the same time? Reason for this, is that I want to setup the new installation first, and then copy and paste any stickied content into the new installation until its ready to use for my members. However, I dont want members to have to re-register anywhere.....so, is it possible to do this, and when the new installation is ready, simple switch off the old 1.0.4 installation, and then the users can simply start using the new installation of the latest version of Fireboard, without having to do anything?
