in new versions you should check the fireboard configuration section. you can assign a content ID to Rules / help.

Can you elaborate on what you did to get it to work? Did you create an article called Rules and put the word Rules in the Rules Content ID box? I've been playing with this for 3 days now and my client is getting upset that she cannot see her rules out there! Any help is much appreciated!

simple in joomla! make new article
Admin Panel >> Content >> Article Manager >> New

write your rules
in article setting (this article)
Title : anything
Section : Uncategorised
Category : Uncategorised
Published : No
Front Page : No
Access Level : Public

Save your article and go to Article Manager to find the ID for this article

new go to Components >> FireBoard Forum >> FireBoard Configuration

search "Rules Content ID"

be Default = 1
replace 1 with the ID of your article
