How can i configure Fireboard to use JomSocial's avatar, profile, and community.

I want Fireboard to be syncronize with JomSocial.

Can this be done?

Fireboard is far from that. The people involved somehow are actually trying to reshape a working structure. You better ask for commercial help in this case or contact/look at the forum of the azrul crew.

I am working on some kind of integration with 1.0.5 RC2, however it will come with certain limitations:
1. The users would not be able to have signatures
2. The users would not be able to have settings like "display order" and maybe some more.

Integrated stuff will be:
- Avatars
- Profile Links
- Will try to integrate the personal messages

Most of the things will be integrated on template level (which will not require hacks), however there will be certain hacks in fireboard.php

Edit: Hmz, I might be able to have a signature field ... but we will see

What do you mean by any language? If JomSocial and Fireboard work in Spanish it will work in Spanish as well.

See what I will do, it is not some kind of "full integration and interaction". What will happen if you apply this patch will be:
- All links to profiles in FB will go to the JS profile.
- Avatars in FB will be the one from JS.
------ This is almost completed
- When you click on send PM in Fireboard it will open the Personal Messaging in JS.
- Registration will be forwarded to JS
- Lost password will be from the Joomla! core
------ This I expect to complete tonight

Now what is more complicated if I would be able to setup in some way the FB signature (this I expect to be easier) and the FB display preferences (this will be harder) in JS. For these two as I am not sure if are possible without significant hacking, I can't say anything as time framework.

Note: All these will hack the Fireboard 1.0.5 RC2 core files (for the moment at least 3 of them).
Edit: The personal messaging can not be integrated (at least for what I am doing) as it is too complicated and for my needs I need a faster solution.

I think this version (RC2) has some issues with the sessions, if the template is using overwrite of the login module

I am also waiting for this. My site has gotten around 200 new users since I added JomSocial and now I need Fireboard to use the JomSocial profile. It is just not loking very polished without Fireboard using the Jomsocial profile and link.
