I have to admit until I stumbled upon this thread I was thinking the worst of this community, my apologize. Seemed I wrote a similar thread a couple of days back and got a less then helpful reply.

JS is actually charging a huge money for their component.
Atleast $150 is quite a big money for me.

Joomla, FB, CB all are FREEs, but not JS.

So, I suggest you to contact JS for support for which they are getting the money.

Don't make me laugh.... I have donated a lot to a lot of free software . To help support sites like groupjive that got up and left then all of a sudden came back again. Sometimes you pay for a service that you can count on even if it is a bit to much. BTW I would love to use Community Builder considering I paid almost 50 for the 1.2 version of it. I wanted a Social Network Component but I did not want to be at the mercy of a group that is not committed to support and advancing their product. Groupjive is unreliable in that aspect and plus I think Azrul did a bang up job on their product. Trust paying for something is not what I had in mind but I am sick of not having the ability to get the proper support.

As JomSocial is a commercial component, they will provide you all the 'integration' hack.
I am sure, give them some time, THEY WILL provide the 'integration'.

But do remember, DONATION is NOT EQUAL TO PERSONAL SUPPORT.
If you face any problem which is 'not common' or need 'customized job', then you can't make a 'donation' and ask the developer for the job to be done
Thats 'profession solution' and you need to HIRE a developer/freelancer. That will cost almost the same....

They are actually. I was just seeing if there was a simple hack to get the avs all synced up maybe some way to connect the profiles loosely. That is all I was after not a total rewrite of a code.

Hell i know that. I just saw that the support for certain projects is not trustworthy. You donate to a project with great hopes then they dissapear on you. You ask for the help to trouble shoot something and the question goes unanswered and you have to hit the javascript books and php area to try to solve it for yourself. I figured at least in a commercial software I can get what was lacking in other sites .I am still going to use CB in the future and still will support the Open Source project. Matter of fact if I can ever get it going again I am going to either resurrect a site that is dedicated to that or for convenience sake just add it on to what i have with free downloads and maybe donation links to those very sites that offer the freebies. And maybe if I can build a community with that get people just help others out on general problems like I had stated.

Look I never meant this to be a flame topic at all. Clanspot sorry just look like you were trying to lore people into a freelancers area for your own profit. At least that is how I took . Sorry about that.
