TOPIC: Don't want forum to open in new window
#62513
Don't want forum to open in new window 1 Month, 1 Week ago
Right now, my forum is opening in a new window. How can I change that and have it stay within the website/window of my site? I can't find where to change it anywhere in config. I'm sure it's there and I'm just missing it.

Thanks!!!

Did you create a "forum" in menu to point to fireboard component thru the menu manager?

Yes, I did. I expect external links to open in a new window but I don't know why this one is since I added that menu item like you said.

That reminds me of another "issue" I have that I'll just lay out here. I have FORUM on my main menu obviously. I have made submenu items under that to different categories in my forum. I want to publish different advertising modules on different forum category pages. But I just realized that since I created these menu items via external link, I can't publish to them. I can publish something to the main FORUM page because it's not external but I don't really want the same ad on all categories.

Is there a way to get these category menu links in a way that I can publish modules to them?

Thanks all!!
