After using Joomlaboard a while, i decided to switch to Fireboard.
Yesterday i made a new installation of Fireboard 1.0.3 on my site and ported the Data from Joomlaboard to Fireboard. The most things are working very well, but i don't have any NEW! indicator. My users already ask about this.
Is this a known problem? Any hints?

scuse me for bad english... i have some problem !
i have upgraded joomlaboard to latest version of fireboard ... NEW! indicator not working...
my site in www.openlinux.eu

i use carbonite template for joomla ...
i have used default_grey tempalte for fireboard (i have modified css color table for use carbonite color)... i have used dark_yellow icon set.

i have tested more with default unmodified templates... NEW indicator not working again

Same experience here. NEW! indicator is not working, I see blue folders all around on new post.

Any hints on this problem? I have every day useres asking about a solution. Some reported a working NEW! indicator after deleting the Cookies. But after one visit, all the NEW! mark disapers.

i have upgraded joomla 1.0.12 to 1.0.13 and community builder to 1.0.2 to 1.1 ... NEW! indicator on fireboard now work...

I use also joomla 1.0.13 and no community builder. The problem still exists.

Check this, In the Fireboard configuration under administrator, check to be sure of following (this is english version):

Under "Front End:Look and Feel:
1. Show New Posts should have 'Yes' Selected.
2. Under "New Indicator" you have type something in (I have "New!" in there).

The first turns on new post icons and checking, the second determines what text will be added to the titles for threads with new posts.
