FB creating too many SQL connections? 7 Months, 1 Week ago  
I've just ported a large SMF forum to FB (112,000+ posts) and the Forum appears to be generating too many SQL connections resulting in the whole site going offline. It's also horribly slow.

Anyone else experiencing this?

What template/ theme are you running?

I ported a Big VB board last month and here are there are a few things that will make a huge difference.

For starters in Forum config - Recent Post Settings - Show Recent Posts, set it to NO

Then - Stats Plugin Settings - Show Stats and Show who's online to NO

U should disable plugins for FB(like the stats plugin etc), or disable the SEF(sh404 / artio) for FB
