Hi. I am using Joomla! 1.5.4 Production/Stable [ Naiki ] 6-July-2008 22:00 GMT with FireBoard 1.0.4 Stable [ Teakwood ] 23 December 2007 01:00 UTC and following problem occured to me:

If I create a new user, this user will not see any categories in the Forum (but the latest posts). Only if I enhance his rights to moderator, log in as this user, and afterward revoke the moderator rights, he will see these kategories.

Unfortunately, I have to log in with all userers who are not moderators if I will add a new category.

Please do you have a tip, how can I fix this problem?

I am also using the same version of Joomla and Fireboard as you and just ran into the same identical problem tonight with two users. Changing them to moderator, logging in and then changing them back to user fixed it. Hope there is a fix other than this for it.
