I am experiencing a problem when I try to add Add Category / Forum.


Code tag does not word wrap so am not using it: fbforumtore failed Unknown column 'class_sfx' in 'field list' SQL=INSERT INTO jos_fb_categories ( `id`,`parent`,`name`,`locked`,`moderated`,`pub_access`,`pub_recurse`,`admin_recurse`,`ordering`,`review`,`description`,`class_sfx`,`headerdesc` ) VALUES ( '','0','domaninname','0','1','0','0','0','9999','0','','','' )

I am running Joomla Joomla! 1.0.15 Stable with FireBoard 1.0.4 Stable New Install not a patch.

Also on the front end I am experiencing some template errors

Code:Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /homepages/XXXXXXX/XXXXXXX/XXXXXXX/XXXXXXX/components/com_fireboard/template/default

This has something to do when I enable and Show Whois Online in config I am not sure what causes it please help.

What is happening with the lack of response here? These unanswered messages are really making me wonder if I should continue using and supporting Fireboard. HELP HELP

Not sure that I can be of any help. But do you run either MySQL or MySQLi?

Code tag will be fixed in 1.0.5 - However it will never word wrap on some browsers as doing so would require extra linebreaks, that would destroy the code when copy/past into an editor. Instead the new version will do a scroll bar at the bottom of the code if it is too big.

I am checking into the preview errors.

Since the 1.0.5 version has become very stable you might want to try it out. Over 300 bugs from 1.0.4 have been fixed and error handling is much improved.
Also contains an automated upgrade that applies all available patches since 1.0.0 to the database structures.

I did however read about something similar, this is a problem with FireBoard and Joomla! 1.5, so with 1.0.5 this will get solved somehow. Please wait for the final to hit stable.

Good point. We 1.0.4 came out shortly after the initial J1.5 release. There have been several J1.5 release since. 1.0.4 was only partially tested on J1.5 and some things broke with the newer releases of J1.5.

In comparison 1.0.5 was mainly tested on J1.5.x - and on the latest releases of it. We have made many improvements to deal with the differences between J1.0.x and J1.5.x
