Ive installed fireboard fine. Everything works perfectly from what I can see - but I have an annoying problem.
When users click on the "new thread" button, the box that they have to type their message in is tiny.

I found some tag's in the configuration section of the Fireboard admin. These tags are: Textarea Height and Textarea Width. Howerver, when I adjust them, nothing happens.

Any help on this would be awesome - i just need to know how to change the size of that box

I have the same problem : I don't understand.... Joomla 1.5.6 with FireBoard 1.0.4 Stable [ Teakwood ] 23 December 2007.... ie the lastest versions...

May be I done a bad operation : I have a small textarea (184 x 52) versus the regalurar textarea (600 x 400).

Anybody find a solution ????

J'ai du faire une mauvaise manip : je me retrouve avec une toute petite zone de texte de saisie.... alors que dans mon paramétrage : Largeur de zone de saisie : 600 et Hauteur de zone texte : 400.

et je me retrouve EN VRAI avec Largeur de zone de saisie : 184 et Hauteur de zone texte : 52 (taille intérieur sans la bordure qui représente 2 pixels...

Quelqu'un a une idée???? moi je séche...

Long time ago. There's even a sticky.

I wanted to spare another topic on this, but I am having the same issue. Now I know my text input box is too small because I have "use Joomla style" enabled, but I need it enabled for my site.

Using Joomla style, does anyone know how I should go about adjusting the text imput box?

Can you perhaps give us a clue to the name of the thread? I've spent over an hour looking for it. If you know there is one, why not be helpful and just tell us?

I have the same problem. Ive searched the forums and see they have a code for the version 1.0.4 to solve the same problem, but the code does not work for the new fireboard (although I never tried that code when I had 1.0.4 so I dont know if it did work). And in the Fireboard config frontend, you cant change the textwidth/ hight there either. And the No Joomla style doesnt match my site at all. Someone please help.

Fireboard 1.0.5 RC1 has a configuration option for this in backend to assure its width and visibility. Time to upgrade.

I have joomla 1.0.15 and FB 1.0.5 RC1 and I am getting the same issue with my joomla style turned on. I -need- it turned on. please what do i need to do to fix this to make it work.
