I have the problem with quote function it scrues the quoted text, it seams that it is in colision with some other code, and it does not depend on the template (since it bihaves same in any template.
Here it is how it looks like:

This issue has been fixed in the upcoming 1.0.5 release. Beta testing is pretty much finished and we are about to go to 1.0.5RC1.

Might want to give it a try.

I would try that if that is your suggestion, any link to it since I see that it is not yet officially posted or we have to wait for it?
