I have a discussion board which needs post to be reviewed first before publishing. I have set it correctly in the Fireboard configuration and it works great.
When a registered user submits a post, then it says:
‘Your message has been successfully posted. It will be reviewed by a Moderator before it will be published on the forum. Submit.’
At this point, the post is not show up, great start!
However, when I logged in as a moderator, I can see 1 message pending. When you click on that ‘1 pending message(s)’ link, it will open up a detailed page of the pending post with ‘Approve’ and ‘Delete’ buttons and a tick box next to it (under where it says action).
When you checked the box for that post and hit the delete button, it pop-up a message as:
'Are you sure you want to delete this message? nn NOTE: There is NO way to retrieve deleted messages!'
Here I have 2 choices, either click ‘OK’ or ‘Cancel’ BUT when I clicked cancel button, the pending post has been deleted (pressing cancel means stopping the delete process), this must be the bug in this part of the forum. I think I have found a file called ‘moderate_messages.php’ relating to this issue, but not sure what to do, can anyone help please???
