HELP! Login Issues. 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Hi, I'm new to this whole thing. I've just installed Fireboard here: www.canadianteengirl.com/hyperion/index.php/Forums/

As you can see I'm using 1.5 and the Hyperion template from Rockettemplate.

When I click on "Forums" if I'm not logged in I get an error page that says:

"This forum is open only to registered and logged in users.
If you are already registered, please log in first."

My questions are:

1) Where is that error page located so I can edit the message?

2) Is there a snippet of code for the login form I can include on that page rather then have it along the side?

3) The "Member Login" tab is not functional when I am on the forum page but works on every other page...

Any ideas or suggestions?

#1: This is a setting done by you. Can be located in the FireBoard config screen, scroll down to Security, and select no on "Registered Users Only".

#2: Maybe try put it into the top position. Or you can try YOOlogin, and use a horizontal style in the top position.

#3: This is because of a JavaScript conflict. Not sure how to solve this. Ask at RocketTheme.

RE: #1 - I meant that I WANT it to be registered users only, but I want to edit that error message that users get that try to view it when they aren't logged in + include a link to a login page. So I was wondering where I could find that page to edit.

Thanks for your other suggestions, I will definitely look into those options

If you use Firefox, you could try using Firebug to locate where the text is written, and then change it.
