Since my host will not assist at all my DB errors that have been happening, and trust me I am not the only one at this host that has been having issues. Anyways,I am moving my site to another host that ASSURES me they are at level 5 and above. Prior to moving it, I would like to know if I can get rid of all the jos_sb table entries in my Database, as they look like they are from the old Joomlaboard install. If you look below, I have jos_sb and then jos_fb. Can I safely delete the jos_sb tables?... BTW I so use Community Builder 1.1 as well and don't want to corrupt that in anyway as well by this DB cleanup

According to this old thread, they did indeed clean out the jos_sb tables in their database. Can I do that? Is that why I am having database issues? Is that why I keep getting this error? ---> DB function failed with error number 2006

I am about to move my site due to multiple database errors, but would prefer not to if all I need to do is drop or empty the jos_sb tables.

is not a database error. It is a server timeout error. A quick search of the forums or Google should have told you that.
Dropping those tables will have no effect.

Thanks for that... I know that not and I am moving my site as this is an issue at my present host. However, my question is can I remove those tables? I would like to clean up my database prior to the move. Aren't the jos_sb from Joomlaboard? Can't I remove them and keep only the jos_fb? That is what I need to know at this time!

EDITED TO SHOW THIS RESOLVED!
I deleted the above jos_sb tables! I took a chance since no one here gave me an answer! Fireboard appears to work.. except for the subscriptions no longer do so I will start another thread on that since it is a different topic!
