the 2 most important things I'm missing are
- multiple picture upload per post
- permissions on forums (author, editor ...) does not work with 1.5.2 and FB 1.0.4

I saw that you'll implement multiple pics for FB 2.0. thanks for that
As for the permissions I downloaded your nightly build today and it's nearly fixed. I'm delighted.
It works fine if I lets say configure a forum/cat to "Editor" with no childgroups allowed.
Everyone from status editor gets to see the forum. If I change this user to other than editor then the user will not see this forum anymore after a refresh of page.
It works like a charm. Only if you allow childgroups I still have the same problem.
registered user->cannot see forum. change this user to "editor" status->can see forum. change back to registered->can still see forum. I've checked that on a test site local with
Joomla! 1.5.2 Production/Stable [ Woi ] 22-March-2008 22:00 GMT
and
com_fireboard_v1.0.5NB10_b610_2008-08-11.zip
(forum was 1.0.4 upgraded with com_fbconverter_v1.0.5RC2_b159_2008-07-15.zip)

Here comes an issue I found. In the announcement I placed on my forum I wanted to add a link to this site but that didn't work quite well. It did show a link, so that part is working only the link itself became www.csvimproved.com/www.bestofjoomla.com. In my announcement I had filled "www.bestofjoomla.com". Going in to edit the link this had become "/www.bestofjoomla.com". No matter what I made it out to be, it always was attached to my domain name. Is this by design not to be able to link to outside links or is it a bug?

Darn, I thought i had everything in my post. My first try was with http syntax and that got stripped down to "/www.bestofjoomla.com".
