I modified it slightly: takes the first 40 chars ... last 20 chars of the link.

I will also place it outside that function so it also covers tagged urls...

I cannot install NB9 O.o

Code:

        * JFTP::login: Unable to login
        * JFTP::store: Unable to use passive mode
        * ˇWarning! - Failed moving the file

First time it happened

Also, in NB8 I have an error with code BBcode, it doesn't escalate and takes all the screen width, will make a screenie

That is not FB. You must have changed the setting of your Joomla install to ftp from file uploads. I have not been able to make that work - I believe there might be an issue in Joomla. Change the setting back and it will work.

No, you're right it's not FB, just discovered my host made me change password without advice, when I tried to log on my account

BTW, wasn't supposed those nightly builds to auto check if it was an update or a ffresh install?

Because I kept getting the other component using folder error:
Code:

        * Install component: Another component is already using: "/home/vocesdel/public_html/components/com_fireboard"
        * Install component: Another component is already using: "/home/vocesdel/public_html/administrator/components/com_fireboard"

Message

        * Install component Error

Have NB8, tring to install NB9 in j1.5.5

Did you uninstall NB8 before trying to install NB9? If not, do so.

Once you have a good backup, backup, backup simply uninstall the current version of FireBoard on your test server.

The rest is identical for both install and upgrade.

Install the latest com_fireboard package through the joomla component installer. During the install the installer will recognize whether this is a fresh install or and upgrade and will perform the required tasks including all SQL upgrades to the database.

Still having the problem in NB9, it only happens with too large texts, before loading as code, when it's still not code tag formatted, it is formatted correctly for my width.
